This is not your mothers solitaire. Its Japanese Reach Mahjong. If you dont know how to play, dont bother downloading it. Its all in Japanese and wont teach you how to play or tell you what to do next. If you do know how to play, the interface is intuitive enough, the stats are convenient, and the AI engine is decent, but if youre any good you should win everytime. Its free.

Riichimahj is wrong, furiten is the rule of sacred discard; you cannot call a tile to win if you yourself previously discarded a tile you could win off of. The app is good for free mahjong, I like the style.

Firstly, its called riichi mahjong, not "reach". Secondly this game has bugs when recognizing winning hands. For example, I was in tenpai for yakuhai 2 and when an opponent discarded the third white dragon I needed, the game wouldnt let me ron stating "furiten" (meaning I didnt have a yaku to give my hand worth). This happened many times and is extremely frustrating. If you know how to play and are serious about getting better, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS. Also dont read reviews from newbs; this application is poor. On September 15th: As an afternote, you are right, furiten isnt the error message I recieved, however, this game is still missing some forms of winning hands
